NAC - N-Acetyl-Cysteine 600mg (60 Capsules)

I simply trust this company. The product seems to be genuine and does the work. I've had a cheaper one before but the smell was unbearable I had to return it. I would buy it again.

This is a good NAC supplement. There’s little to fault here. The smell is correct for what NAC should smell like and it causes the same general tummy reaction as other ones. This is a good sign not a bad thing. NAC is known to cause bloating especially at higher doses. I recently took around 2-3g during a flu and felt much better for it. It seemed to speed up recovery. I’m not sure whether it’s all that different from other cheaper brands though.

I find this can somewhat help reduce mucus buildup, but not to a massive degree - I still need antihistamines and occasionally paracetamol to help stop the sniffles. I don't find it helps noticeably in any other capacity.

NAC is also good for brain health, hormone regulation and helps combat fatigue. These 600mg NAC capsules are non-toxic and effectively absorbed. They are of the highest potency and good for lungs, liver, mind and energy release. Manufactured in the UK and excellent value for two months' supply.

I have tried Acetyl Cysteine 600 mg many times before both tablets and powder sachets. I used to take the powder version,but after taking the tablet version once,I take only the tablet version as it is way easier to take. The Acetyl Cysteine used to help me fight with chest infections as it liquefies mucus in the lungs. The Acetyl Cysteine helps me to breathe easier. This Acetyl Cysteine seems to be good quality. It is made as 600mg tablets and normally you should not take more than 600mg Acetyl Cysteine a day. There are 60 tablets in the bottle,which is enough for 60 days. These are easy to swallow one a day capsules. I read that you are supposed to take them on an empty stomach, so I take mine with my Omeprazole first thing in the morning, half an hour before breakfast. NAC is one of the 7 supplements I take daily for my Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). Healing a fatty liver is very slow going, I had an issue with Paracetamol and Lansoprazole, cutting out the former completely and changing the latter to Omeprazole helped a lot but my levels were still way too high and refusing to budge anymore. NAFLD isn't treated on the NHS, they only monitor it with regular blood tests and scans when necessary. I got a book from Amazon at the end of 2017 about how to heal a fatty liver and have been taking these supplements since the beginning of 2018 every day ever since then. I don't actually feel any better but my bloodwork has improved massively since taking them and my doctor has told me that it is working so to carry on doing what I'm doing.

Cannot sing NAC's praises enough! During these Interesting Times, it's one of the very most wonderful things you can take. Fair warning, it smells awful (not just this brand, NAC in general has a sort of sulphur smell, and you will taste it if you don't get it down quick... but it's so worth it!) It's a building block of glutathione, which is one of the body's most powerful antioxidants. It fights cellular damage and it is known to increase longevity. It's incredible stuff! This is the first time I've tried anything from this company, but having looked into them a little, they seem brill. The bottle is £8.99, which will last you 60 days - that's a brilliant price. Highly, highly recommended.

I usually take NAC in powder form to help with mucus build up and anxiety related compulsive behaviours such as intrusive thoughts, binge eating and skin picking. This works just as well as the powder and its easy to take on the go. It can repeat a little on your next burp. I also find I don’t get hungover if I take nac with b12 2-6 hours before an event or night out. Cheaper than the brand I was previously using. I would deffo repurchase.

Love these capsules! They do smell (normal for NAC) but if downed quickly that's no problem. I've extreme neuropathy and convinced these are helping me control the pain. If not, they are helping the long term health of my nervous and muscular system. Highly recommended.

You get 60 easy to swallow capsules here and if you stick to the recommended dosage of one daily they will last you for two months. This is the clearly marked vegetarian products and they have used a vegetarian capsule shell. There is no mention of it being suitable for vegans although I don’t see anything in the ingredients it should be problematic. You get a long expiry date of almost 2 years from the time of ordering. You get a decent 600 mg dosage per capsule and for the current price of under £10 it represents good value for money.
